Define contact parts, finish and cleaning requirements
The existing configuration range includes SS304 and SS316L options, subject to project confirmation. Specify the handled product, process conditions and cleaning method before choosing a grade. No universal corrosion or food-contact approval is implied by this page.
Information for a stainless steel quotation
- Contact scope: identify which body, rotor and other product-contact parts require a specified material.
- Material requirement: state the requested grade and any traceability documents needed.
- Surface finish: state the required finish and acceptance method rather than using only the word polished.
- Cleaning: describe dry or wet cleaning, cleaning agents and required inspection or disassembly access.
- Process: provide material handled, bulk density, throughput, temperature, pressure condition and inlet/outlet dimensions.
Check the complete assembly
Include seals and other contact components in the specification. Confirm the final contact-material list, surface requirements and inspection access in the quotation and approved drawing. Do not assume every external component is stainless steel unless this is specified.
Application and documentation boundaries
For food powder, chemical powder or lithium battery material handling, state your process-specific cleanliness, compatibility and documentation requirements. Suitability and supporting documents need project review; stainless steel construction is not itself proof of certification.
